Problem displaying correct info on in car audio system

I have just resynced my ipod nano in Itunes, to allow addition of new songs. However, after connecting to my in car audio system, the information displayed on the car audio screen is the not the correct information. ie song playing is incorrect. Even when I go to Menu and select a song, the wrong song plays. How do I correct this problem?
