Panic: We are hanging here - Iphone 6 plus

Hello,

We were on a skype call and everything was fine...battery was low when we were done, so mama plugged it into the charger, and the screen she had there was apple logo and a lot of writing on the side, which ends: panic: we are hanging here...

I searched online and read about resetting: holding home button together with on/off button for five seconds, i repeated it a lot, but no use. I also tried draining the battery then plugging it into the charger, but still no change.

Please help

Please note, the phone was never jail broken...

To reset the device: hold down the Home and Power buttons until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). You need to hold them down long enough for the Apple to appear then you can release them. At that point the device will be resetting and the Slide to Unlock screen will display shortly after that.
