Cannot connect iPhone 6 to iTunes Store

i clicked onto iTunes Store on my iphone 6 but it just wouldn't work - keeps on showing "cannot connect to iTunes Store" I checked my date and time and all was perfectly fine. Restarted my phone but the situation still persist
