Hi guys, i'm thinking to buy a used Airport Extreme 5th generation A1408 (MD031LL/A)
I'm wondering how fast is the wireless N 2.4 ghz tx rate like 150 mbps and 5.0 ghz like 450 mbps... Is those speeds correct?

Those would be the maximum Transmit Rate speeds, so they would assume that you have an almost perfect connection with the AirPort Extreme and the computer in the same room, with a line-of-sight relationship between them.
The actual throughput on the network will usually be about half of the Transmit Rate speed.
Ok. So just to make sure, the Airport Extreme 5th generation A1408 (MD031LL/A) works on N mode. And the fasted date rate speed I can get obvious in the same room is 150 mbps on 2.4 GHZ and 450 mbps on 5.0 GHZ ???
That's correct. But, your Internet connection speed is going to be limited to the plan that you have with your provider, so it will be a lot less than the maximum theoretical speeds of 150 Mbps and 450 Mbps that your computer will be able to use to communicate with the AirPort Extreme.
