Hey there, ive only had this macbook pro for 4 months its a 13-inch mid 2012,4 gb,2.5 GHz intel core i5. So yeah i havnt had it for long but now the fan is starting to make a little nosie and then few min after the fan turns off , do i need to worry about anything?. Also im a new macbook user so i dont kn much when it comes to macbooks. Thanks:)

If the fan still functions in a peculiar fashion, take advantage of the warranty and bring it to an Apple store genius bar for an evaluation.

i havnt got SMC b/c im affraid something will go wrong, im not good at things like this
At the mo its alright but if it keeps going making the nosie or the fan makes a very loud noise i will make appointment with apple store.

Be advised that performing a SMC reset will do no harm to your MBP. Read the directions for a MBP where the user should not remove the battery. If you are still nervous about doing it, get a tech savvy friend assist you. 🙂
