5c loosing signal and shutting down then asking for activation

my 5c that I have had for a while keeps loosing signal and then shuts down and when turns back on there is a message saying

activaction required .. Which I then have to put my id and pw back in .... And if I'm not in wifi range or connected to iTunes it won't work

pplease help it is really annoying
