How to update flash player

I think you're out of luck. If I recall iOS doesn't support Flash so there is no way to load it on your iPhone/iPad.

That is correct, flash is not supported. Have you tried using the YouTube app?

Are you using the latest version of the YouTube app (10.20.11604, released May 27, 2015)?

I was surprised to learn this latest version can actually still run under iOS 7, but indeed it can.
