Message app crashing when i want to access it with my iphone 6plus
i received a message and a notification poped out. I tried to access the message app but it keeps crashing.plz can you help me

Was it a message that said effective power? If so I had this happen to me and I fixed it with this. Step one manually set your phone date two moths ahead. Step two in iMessage settings, set the keep messages setting to 30 days. Step three let your phone delete all messages. ( your phone wont actually delete your messages it will just let you open your message app, then delete the bad message off your phone. This is what my phone did at least.)Your phone should let you open you iMessage app.
