I have a problem with the CD

I have a problem with the CD, I have no disc in the macbook and the record is closed, how do I open it?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Open Terminal, it's in your Utilities folder, and type drutil eject. That should force your drive to manually cycle and allow discs again.
