which generation shuffle do I need to listen to audiobooks from Audible,com

Which generation shuffle do I need to listen to audiobooks from Audible,com. They will not load on my 1 GB(old shuffle) They are on iTunes but will not load on the shuffle. Pop up says the books were not copied to the shuffle because they cannot be played on this iPod.
