what is the future of 1GB ram Iphones ?

okhay this month i bought the iphone 6 , after waiting for a very long period of time. i was in a fix that should i go for the 6 or wait for the new iphone 2015 which will possibly feature 2 gigs of RAM and improved camera but i decided to opt for 6. but recently i was wondering what is the future of 1 GIG models ? i mean after a year or two won't it be too much for them to handle big apps and task and with every new version of IOS, phones slows down a bit. so kindly tell me if any one of you have idea about the future of 1GIG models of iphones .
