Using OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 on my Mac and iPhone 5 on iOS 8.3
I ve just loaded iCloud Photo Library and although all the photos from the phone have transferred to the Mac none of the video clips have?

Thanks for your response. I've since connected the iPhone directly to the Mac & the videos downloaded. As they were taken on the phone I assume they are compatible. Just find it odd that they do not transfer via the wireless link like the still photos do.
