NSNetService Proper syntax

I have a domain that I want to use to publish a NSNetservice and ever time I specify the domain the service fails to publish with invalid Domain I have the same problem on the clients trying to connect on the domain. The domain is active and I can get to it. I checked the documentation it only depcits the local specification and states that a . indicates the absolute name. so putting in something like www.myapp.com will not work. Any help would be great.

iPhone 6, iOS 8.3

Hi sonnyp21,

It says a trailing . indicates an absolute name. Have you tried "www.myapp.com."? In low-level DNS resolution, there is always a trailing period. It is removed from higher level interfaces as a convenience for the user.
