iTouch 5 not playing correctly

My itouch 5 keeps skipping will playing on bluetooth speakers. Any ideas?

iPod touch, Windows 7

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset the BT speaker

.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You will have to re-pair the BT speaker and re-join wifi networks

- Try with speaker and iPod in another location to help determine if interference is causing the problem

- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
