Extra Mouse Events Trackpad

I've been noticing that in Yosemite when I clicked things, sometimes the action would happen twice. I went to http://unixpapa.com/js/testmouse.html and clicked and an extra mouseup event fires every time. Right clicking works fine, an external mouse works fine, and in boot camp left clicking works fine. It only fires an extra mouseup event when left clicking on the trackpad in OS X. I tried enabling tap to click and tapping also fires the extra event. Since it works in Windows, I'm assuming it's a software issue. I closed all the other programs I had running and it still fired the extra event. Thanks for any help.
