Q: How to set up POP email account in Apple mail? Everything is defaulting to IMAP
Have a new MacBook Pro and trying to set up my POP email accounts but it is automatically putting them as IMAP accounts and I can see not way of switching to POP. How can I do this?
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
As you create the account, after you enter the email address and its password, hold the Option key down and you will see that the "Create" button changes to a "Next" button. Then you can select POP.
