webcam not working
although i want a skype or facebook conversation webcam didn't turn on as it used to be.
iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), iOS 6.1.6
If restarting Mac does not correct the problem, one of the suggestions in Apple's How to Troubleshoot iSight will get it working.
The "reset suggested there" often restores normal iMac camera function.
(Over time, Apple has changed the built-in camera's name on newer Macs from "iSight" to "FaceTime" and then to "FaceTime HD." Regardless of the name of your Mac's built-in camera, the same info and troubleshooting applies.)
