iTunes not detecting Apple TV

I have an Apple TV, I think it´s second generation, the black small one.

It was working PERFECT, i constantly use it to stream music from itunes, but all of a sudden iTunes is not detecting it on the list of Airplay devices, whilst my AirPort Express (NYD AirPort) shows up, the Apple TV won't.

If i go to system preferences and select output for sound, Apple TV does show up, and that's the only way i can do it.

Once connected to AppleTV via System Preferences, ATV will ask for a code, and the it will show in iTunes as "AirPlay device (dispositivo airplay in spanish)" and it's currently named "NYDTV".

I already restored Apple TV to facroty settings and it didn't work. Any clue what can be causing this?
