Why is my credit card being charged

My credit card is being charged for various amounts but listed as APL*ITUNES.COM/BILL866-712-7753CA. I contacted iTunes for e-mail answer and their response was not related to my question. It seems that the charges might be related times I read a book that is in my collection. Is this possible? If so, why? Also, I have attempted to delete the book from my iPhone and through my Mac Book with no success.

You may be able to 'report a billing error' or access the other information you seek through contacts

at Apple by using the main web site and sub-sections. Or see if the information linked in the Support

page for iTunes helps. There are a lot of possible items to sift through, though only one need work...

•iTunes Support - Main - Accounts, etc:

http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/account/

See the 'Billing' section in iTunes Support -- among items there, note:

•Report a Problem:

https://reportaproblem.apple.com/

Read here before attempting to get refund or other course of action:

•iTunes Store charges on credit and debit card statements - Apple Support

iTunes Store - unrecognized charge - action form (see above, first)

In any event...

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
