Hard drives found but not accessible - Airport Extreme

I have an Airport Extreme setup with external drives that is giving me trouble.

I have 2 disk drives connected to the USB of the Airport. Both are the proper format and have been accessible from my MacBook Air and 2 iOS devices using File Browser app.

Today all I get from the Macbook finder window is a folder with people holding hands when selecting either disk drive. The iOS devices can connect to the AirPort but not access the drives either.

Any ideas? What has changed?
