My iPod was perfectly fine and i put it down and locked it , then i came back to an hour later to check my messages and it won't turn on and before i would hold the power and home button but my home button is broke so i can't do that. when i left it was half charged and was working fine. What do i do ???

It doesn't as i can't connect my device it's not responding to iTunes I've connected by several different cables and it won't connect to iTunes or my computer.
If yo tried everything then, as I said in the referenced link,
make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem besides the button.
I can't get to a genius bar as they are all to far away and the appointment aren't till next week and next week i'm back at school.
You can try a local third-party repair place. However, if they take it apart then Apple will not help
