So i have an imac retina 3.3-3.7tb running win7 on bootcamp,
any chance i could get help with my no sound problem!
- i had a problem with my internet and wired apple keyboard so downloaded the latest bootcamp driver5.1 5640- currently still using.

You need to use BC Assistant to download appropriate version for your hardware and Boot Camp: Solve Windows support software installation problems or Boot Camp: Install or repair Boot Camp drivers. Please use a USB2 flash drive, not a USB3 flash drive.
Yes i understand that but i had to manually install that and cant find any later software to use... or use 'download latest from apple' in BootCampAssistant (on osx side) because i think there isn't new enough apple software for my 5k.
going to try window 8.1 seems more compatible apparently
After you have installed,
1. Do you have any unknown devices in Device Manager?
2. Do you have any Audio devices in Device Manager?
3. Was Windows installed using EFI boot?
it's all good i installd 8.1 and then installed the bootcampsteup from my installer hd.
sound is great!
so is the picture!
