cannot sync phone with computer bc i changed my apple ID and cannot remember the password for the old ID I used to download most of my apps

I changed my apple ID a while back and am now trying to syn my phone with my hp laptop but whenever I try to transfer music it asks for the password for my old apple ID which i cannot remember. How do I transfer my music and sync my phone using my new apple ID instead of the old one I used to download apps with?
