Does apple make a modem and wifi combo where I dont have to have two devices to get wifi and DSL? I dont want to rent the one the company will provide so I was wondering if apple made one. I have no idea about modems and whatnot as you can tell but I would like to be able to get just one piece of equipment to handle everything and would prefer it be an apple product since thats the kind of computer I have. No, Apple isn't in the modem business. Any of the AirPort products connects to an Ethernet cable that comes from a cable modem or some other equipment that interfaces with the provider's network. Cable modems can be purchased (I own mine) but I don't know about DSL.
