Can I move /music/itunes to /itunes?

I want to move my iTunes folder from <home>/music/iTunes to <home>/iTunes. Is this possible? Is it easy?

I have a bunch of other music in the music folder that has no relation to iTunes and I want to separate them. My iTunes media folder is in the "default" location <home>/music/itunes/itunes media and is organized and managed by iTunes.
