macbook pro crashing

Hello,

I have been having some issues with my 2010 MacBook Pro for some time now.

It frequently crashes without notice. The screen will go completely black, then the computer starts to reboot. A little notice pops up saying "You have restarted your computer because of a problem".

It's happened as much as 15 times in a day, and it's incredibly frustrating to say the least.

I took the computer to the local tech support who ran a diagnostic and found no issues. I then wiped the computer clean, did all necessary software updates (now running 10.10.3 OS X Yosemite), I even unistalled Adobe (just about the only thing i use the computer for) in the hopes that it would wipe any potential bugs. Reinstalled the software, and still the computer is crashing.

Before I take the thing and run it over with my truck, maybe someone can shine some light, or possibly a solution, on my situation.
