I have a macbook air. iTunes 12.2.1. I need to speed up a song for a dance audition on iTunes. i have looked at many apps and they haven't helped. I don't know how to do this but my dance teacher did however she had a macbook pro. would this make a difference?

Ask her how she did it. Model Mac won't make any difference except if you are running an ancient operating system.
