wifi not working on 4s

Really really really disappointed in what i am reading on the 4s. My wifi is not working. I thought the update to 8.3 would help and no. Cannot afford to upgrade. This is terrible Apple.

I'm using an iPhone 4s with iOS 7.1.2 and my WiFi is very good. So is my Wife's 4s.

Does the WiFi issues happen everywhere (coffee shops, etc...) or just at home?

Does WiFi connect at all?

What happens if you Power Cycle your iPhone?

What happens if you turn off BlueTooth?

If the problem is only at home, is there a lot of radio interference? 2.4GHz cordless phones (yours or your neighbors), 2.4GHz baby monitors (yours or your neighbors), completing WiFi base stations (from your neighbors).

Do you have a USB-3 disk sitting next to your WiFi base station? USB3 with bad shielding can generate 2.4GHz interference if in close proximity to the transmitter or receiver.

Does your home have concrete walls, or use metal studs in the walls that can block signals?

I'm not going to get to the mythical 20 questions, so I'm stopping now.
