half of my iMovie pictures were deleted

Please I need help. I have my daughters function and we made an iMovie but now half the pictures cannot be seen. Please help me

iMovie version is 10.0.08. And iMac is 3.06 GHz Intel core i3. OS X Yosemite 10.10.3
