Is there a way to batch change photo info (description, title) in Photos, as it was in iPhoto? I can not find it!

    I am using Sierra.

To batch change the title, description or keyword:

    In Photos:

    1.  Select more than one photo

    2.  Right-click and choose Get Info

    3.  Change any or all of the title, description or keyword

    4.  If desired, assign a location.

All selected photos should be updated.

To change the date and/or time of a single photo:

    1.  Select one photo

    2.  Right-click and choose Get Info

    3.  Double-click on the date

    4.  Change date and/or time

    5.  Click Adjust.

When I try also changing the closest city, and clicking Adjust, it doesn't accept the change.

Not if you really are so far out of date and have OS X 10.10.3 as you state - that is seven or eight updates behind and well over a year out of date

If you get up to date with OS X sierra 10.12 and Photos 2.0 then you can by selecting mu;tiple photos and getting info - entering data into the inof window will change all selected photos with current software (but with totally out dated software like you say you have there is not way to do it)

In Photos on El Capitan or Sierra you change multiple titles or description at once to the same text.  But there are no elaborate presets to batch change the title to the filename or add add running numbers or similar.

You have to use Apple Scripts to do this:

We posted a few scripts in the User Tip section (Photos for Mac ). You can modify them to suit your needs.

    For example:

Script: Changing the Title to the Filename without Extension

Script: Batch Changing the Titles to the Filename w/Extension

Batch Change Title to Capture Date-Description-Padded Sequential Number

    Script:  Batch Change the Descriptions

The simplest thing of all is for Apple to add batch change to Photo. It is such a nice option in iPhoto and makes my life so much easier when I edit photos. I'm not sure why it has never been added to Photo. Lots of people have asked. Please, Apple, add batch change to Photo with the next Sierra upgrade so that titles and descriptions can easily be changed for multiple photos.

Make Photo as wonderful and user friend as iPhoto. Until then, I'm sticking with iPhoto. It remains the best photograph editing and storage app available on earth.
