Pages 5.5/Yosemite
When I search a word in Pages, it finds them without problems, but it is very hard to see the actual word on the page, because there is no background color or it's white I've tried to change settings in Yosemite without effect.

Your find panel informs on match count, and the very first match is highlighted in vivid yellow, while the other matches are highlighted in gray — until you advance to them, at which time they too, are highlighted in yellow. I typically use match whole words, and by case in the gear selector.

Look at this, though. It's in Danish, but don't mind. In line 6 from the bottom, you should be able to see the problem. The word in question is "hoved".

With the Find Box open, delete hoved and type hoved again

Something has distorted the top of the text below hoved (head). What happens if you just click the right arrow in the Find panel. Does it light up hoved in yellow?
Thanks for the suggestions. Neither helped, but I've found out, that it probably has something to do with the document. I'll do some experiments. Any ideas of what could be the problem with the particular doc?
Perhaps the issue is a non-standard font, paragraph, or character style. The yellow color of that found box is not something that the user can change. Otherwise, I have no idea.
