I have an iPad 2. I've purchased many movies through iTunes which are now in my cloud. I'm on the road without my computer. How do download these punched directly onto my iPad 2

If they are still in the store, and you haven't moved countries, then they might show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app for redownloading
On my iPhone and iPad, when I open the video app and select the movie tab, all of my iTunes movies show up. The ones not on the device have a little cloud icon in the lower right corner.
I'll mention this just in case...if you're on the road and away from your PC, you'll also need an internet connection (if you don't have one) to connect the iPad to the internet (Wi-Fi or cellular if your iPad has cellular built-in) to access the iTunes Store to do the movie download.
