Calls keep dropping

Hi,

I'm having problems with calls keeping dropping, it happens at random times, it happens pretty much every day but sometimes it will happen just 3 minutes in to the call and sometimes it can last a whole hour conversation before dropping out, after dropping the call it will not allow me to ring the other person back, it just goes straight to voicemail, and if they try to call me it goes straight to voicemail for them also. The majority of the time if I turn my phone on and off again, it will allow me to call them back, which suggests to me that this could be an issue with my phone as turning it off and on again seems to make it work again, although it could possibly be a problem with my network but I'm not sure as I've never experienced anything like this before, any ideas?

Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on the phone.

  • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
  • Press and hold on the Home button
  • Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201559

If this does not help, restore your device to factory settings. Note that this will erase the data from your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: Use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.
