itunes crashing 18 AFCVolumeNotificationThread

Hi

I recently became unable to open iTunes in my Mac. It just crashes on start.

Tried to start with a blank library (using the Alt + open shortcut) but nothing changes.

Details of the crash below.

Any idea on what I should do? I'd try to uninstall it, but not possible on a mac...

Hi AcacioPN,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

From what I gather, there’s an issue launching iTunes on your MacBook Air. If you haven’t already, try to download and reinstall the latest version of iTunes as described in the article linked below.
