MacBook Pro 15" Retina (ForcePad) & Win 8.1 & BootCamp 5.1.5917

Beware of having non-English(US) lang/location/region settings when installing BootCamp:

I just spent more than 2 hours trying to install BootCamp onto Windows 8.1...

Setup would terminate half-way with an error dialog box (red x icon) without text!!!

After installing every driver individually (manually) I found out that "Drivers/Apple/BootCamp.msi"

is the culprit. Starting this MSI would yield in an error, this time *with* text:

Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid

Googling this led me here and let me find a hint regarding location/region/language settings.

When reverting my SwissGerman settings to English(US), the installation worked.
