Ipod wont turn on properly after restoring it in itunes

I have recently got a new ipod touch (5th gen) and when i plugged it into itunes, it asked me to restore all the information from my old one so i clicked restore and it said my ipod should restart automatically. The ipod turned off but wont turn back on now, it comes up with the apple logo for about 15 seconds then goes blank. Please help!!

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
