iphone 6 drops wifi signal

Hi,

I've had my phone since September and haven't had a problem with it until now.

I can connect to my wifi router when I'm in the same room, but as soon as I leave it drops connection and I can't find the router when searching.

I know it's not the router as all my other devices connect and I can't connect when I'm round other peoples homes.

My laptop is broke so I can't restore my phone using iTunes.

Any ideas what I can do? or should I just give up and get it repaired under warranty?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.3, I'm on Virgin mobile as is my wifi

Reset your network settings.

Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings

Reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on the phone.

  • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
  • Press and hold on the Home button
  • Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

Hope this helps!
