Restarting phone by sms

Hi!

There is a sms who people are sending to each others for fun right now. One person are sending the sms to an other person and their phone restart.

My question is if the sms can damage the iphone in some way?

I don´t think it´s a good idea to paste the sms here but I have it if u are interested.
