Problem with Pop-up screens after Facebook link

Hey,

Earlier today I clicked a link at Facebook, and now every time I click on something, a new tab with weird adds (different things) opens.

I already checked the extensions in Safari but there isn't anything. I also removed my history and ran a deep system scan from Bitdefender but that also didn't give anything.

Help?! 😐

This can happen if adware is installed without your knowledge.

1. Use free AdwareMedic to remove adware

http://www.adwaremedic.com/index.php

Install , open, and run it by clicking “Scan for Adware” button to remove adware.

Once done, quit AdwareMedic.

or

Remove the adware manually by following the “HowTo” from Apple.

2. Safari > Preferences > Extensions

Turn those off and relaunch Safari.

Turn those on one by one and test.
