How to fix effective power bug

the day before yesterday i was sent the effective power bug many of you know about. I didnt affect me til yesterday and now i cant get into imessages. I tried all the tricks the siri one has worked but the farthesr i got was into my imessages were i can see all my messages and when i went to slide and delete the convorsation it closed me out of imessages and im back to square one. i also tried contacting apple support and they only directed me here. someone help.
