My iphone says i am using 6.6 memory for pictures/videos. There is no way this accurate. I only have like 50 pics. I have turned on and off, but no change. Any suggestions?

In settings > general > usage. Check to see what is taking up the most space.
Hello!! When i do this, it says the memory is being taken up by photos/videos, but there are only like 50 photos and a couple seconds of videos. It says 6.6 is being used by the photos. I know this many pics can't be using up this much memory. Any suggestions? I have already turned on and off several times with no change.
Two suggestions:
1. If you have a lot of Messages with photos or videos in them, delete those
2. Check your Recently Deleted Album, and delete any photos that are showing in there. Then, go to Settings>General>Date & Time and change the Date back to 9/1/2014. Then go back to the Recently Deleted Album and if you see additional photos in there, delete those also

Thank you so much!! When i changed the date, thousands of pictures popped up.. I deleted and now i have tons of memory...Thanks again!!!
