how to use findmyiphone without wifi or data

Question

I lost my phone and it won't make the beeping noise unless it's connected to Wifi. It is on silent. Is there any way I can make it make a sound?

Find My Phone only works when connected to the Internet using Wi-Fi or cellular.

The only changes you can make you will find via your @iCloud.com webpage by clicking on the Find My Phone app after you sign in.
