Lyrics won't delete off my IPod touch 4th generation

I have an IPod touch fourth generation. At one point in time, I had wanted lyrics on my IPod, so I added them. Some time later, I decided that I didn't want them any more. So, I went into Itunes, selected the song, clicked More Info, clicked the lyrics tab, erased the lyrics, and synced my Ipod. However, when It was done syncing, the lyrics were still on my Ipod Touch. Do anyone of you know how to fix this?
