Apple Google Docs on iPad (autosave glitch)

I edited a document in the Apple Google Docs app on an iPad (not mine) yesterday. Then when I opened it today on my computer, none of the changes were there. I can't replace the work I did. I checked the Revision History, and it doesn't show that any changes were made yesterday. Is there any way to recover this? Thanks!
