just upgraded to OS X Yosemite and mac mail doesn't update

Just installed OS X Yosemite on my Macbook Pro & my BT mail client fails to update, mail works fine on Yahoo mail and worked on previous OS .Any ideas?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

OS X does not update non-Apple software such as your BT mail client. Try using Mail for your BT mail.

What do you mean with BT Mail client? A client tends to be a program. Do you use a BT mail app?

If not resetting POP / IMAP settings usually does the trick in your "mail client".

Check the BT website for POP/IMAP settings.

(Also update to 10.10.3)
