Can I buy an adaptor to use iPod Classic on Bose SoundDock III with lightening connector

I have seen adaptors to use new devices on old docking stations etc but is there an adaptor to use an iPod Classic on a new Bose SoundDock III which has a lightening connector?

I can find adaptors that support syncing and charging, but I cannot find one so far that definitely supports audio. Does the Bose also have a 3.5mm input?
