Work-around loss of compressor in OS X 10.10.3

When I updated my OS to OS X 10.10.3 apparently I lost the use of compressor in FCP 6.0.6.

So, for example I wanted to create a Blu-Ray stream in compressor. Not happening.

Compressor seems to be out of commission due to the OS update.

I'm wondering if anyone has found a work-around for this issue, particularly creating a Blu-Ray stream.

Thanks,

mp

Consider upgrading to Compressor 4, US$50 at the Mac App store.

New interface, but works with the latest version of Mac OS.

Not sure if direct integration with legacy FCP is maintained.
