Imessage rearranging my phone number

Greeting, since about a week ago i saw that in the send & recieve option my phone number was rearranged from this format (###)-###-#### to this thing
#(###)-##-##-# ive tried everything so far to change it back but no luck what so ever. Atleast it shows correctly on my itunes, contacts and phone (settings) but imessage and facetime it has that weird format. I just got an iwath and i cant use it to send messages beacause of that, please help.
