Why is my verification code being sent to my old phone number?

System Preferences/iCloud/Keychain/Options - change the phone number there. Test.

Same issue here...

I changed my Apple ID account phone number but, when i try to activate keychain my verification code is being sent to my old phone number.

Not working Keychain/Options...

Anything else?

Now what do I need to do

Best of luck. I couldn't fix this. I called Apple twice. It seems to have confused them as well. Perhaps we shall have to do with out.

I don't have the same options:

Settings -> iCloud -> Key Chain

only 2 actions are possible: Approve with Security Code (sending to old phone that is no where found anymore in my Apple account) or on-off iCloud Keychain

I have an iPhone 4S, iOS 9.1.

I just reset this within my iPhone and yet it's still sending codes to my old number?

Is this how you reset it?

On your iPhone, go to Settings → iCloud → Keychain and switch Keychain off then on again.

Tap "Approve with Security Code", tap "Forgot Code" and then tap "Reset".

Follow the instructions to reset iCloud keychain and create a new passcode.

You will then be prompted to update to your new number.
