Software instruments do not sync with real instruments in project - are the two platforms not compatible ? Or is there a workaround?
added 05/29/15 : pitch change of almost a full note when audio track is moved from iPad Air 2 to iMac GarageBand 10.0.3 (higher)

I think GarageBand on the iPad records in 44.1 kHz Sample Rate. When you load that Project in GarageBand on your computer and use an Audio Interface that is set to 48kHz Sample Rate, then the audio will play back "faster", which results in a higher pitch.
Check your Audio Interface and set it to 44.1kHz.

I Neglected to mention to Richard that I was running the iMac through a Creative X-Fi sound card .... Which only allowed me to set
a refresh rate of 48000. ( not 44100 ).
Unplugged the X-Fi and the transfers sound just as they should. Thank you.
